Vakadu mandal, Nellore district, near the northern mouth of Pulicat Lake.
What to do
A quiet, uncrowded beach used by local fishermen. Good for a walk and the sunrise; there are few facilities.

By cab via Naidupeta.
Tip: Pulicat Lake, BV Palem, Nelapattu, Sriharikota and Tupilipalem sit close together near Sullurpeta. Plan them as one full-day trip, ideally during the Flamingo Festival in January.
