Talakona Waterfall
Timing & entry
Roughly 8 AM–5 PM, per forest department rules. Entry is about ₹50 per adult and ₹25 per child; parking is extra.
Best time to visit
October to February. Monsoon (July–September) brings the most water but slippery trails.
Location
Nerabailu village, Yerravaripalem mandal, inside Sri Venkateswara National Park.
What to do
At about 82 m (270 ft), it is the highest waterfall in Andhra Pradesh. Forest treks of different difficulty lead to the top.
Activities include bathing in marked areas, wildlife spotting, and visiting the Siddheswara Swamy (Shiva) temple near the falls. An old canopy rope walk may no longer run.

By cab or bike.
Tip: Carry water and wear good shoes; the path to the falls can be slippery.
