Papavinasanam
History and legend
The name means "destroyer of sins". It is one of the most sacred theerthams of Tirumala. Legend says Tirumala Nambi carried water from here for the Lord's daily bath before Akasa Ganga was found.

- Pilgrims bathe under the falls to wash away their sins.
- A dam and reservoir here also supply water to Tirumala, and the forest drive to reach it is scenic.
