Best time to visit
October to February. Go at opening time, when the animals are most active and it is cooler.
Location
Pudipatla, on the Tirupati–Chandragiri side of town, at the foot of the Seshachalam hills. Opened on 29 September 1987.
What to do
Covers 5,532 acres, which makes it one of the largest zoos in Asia. Lions, white tigers, leopards, elephants, bears, deer, crocodiles and many birds live in large open enclosures.
A safari runs inside the park.
